Psychologist and Behavior Analyst Licensure
The Board issues licenses to practice in two professions, psychology and behavior analysis, in the State of Arizona.

Go to FORMS/APPLICATIONS in the menu tab, then click on the application page for your profession. Applications and related forms are linked at the top of the page.

A psychologist may apply for licensure by Credential with one of the following designations:
- American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and 5 years of independent licensure
- Certificate of Professional Qualifications (CPQ) and 5 years of independent licensure
- National Register of Health Service Psychologists (National Register) and 5 years of independent licensure
A psychologist or behavior analyst may apply for licensure by Universal Recognition if specific qualifications are met.

Behavior Analysts: Go to BA APPLICATIONS page and scroll down for detailed information.
LICENSEES: For renewal information, please click on the Renewals menu tab.
VERIFICATIONS: To look up license information for a psychologist or behavior analyst, go to the License menu tab and click on Directory Search. If an official or formal verification needs to be sent to another Board or organization, please email your request to Krishna Poe, Program Projects Specialist, at [email protected]. The $2 fee is currently waived.
