Licensees are eligible to submit renewal applications 60 days prior to their license expiration date. Effective January 1, 2021, the Board has transitioned the renewal process exclusively to the eLicensing portal. IMPORTANT: The portal is not compatible with Internet Explorer, tablets or smart phones; licensees should use Google Chrome or another web browser.
Licensees previously registered in the eLicensing portal will login with their email address and existing password. The portal allows users to reset forgotten passwords (check your spam/junk folder if you do not immediately see the email containing a password reset link which is valid for 24 hours).
Licensees who have not previously registered in the eLicensing portal will need to contact Board staff for a security code to register. Once you have a security code, select "I have a license" and follow the instructions.
This guide provides a visual overview of the step-by-step process to access the eLicensing portal. After you create your account your login/username will be your email address and password you choose.
Copies of CE certificates are not required, but licensees must enter information for each CE course into the portal or upload a log/tracking sheet with the required CE information. Please retain CE certificates for 4 years in the event you are selected for the random CE audit. CE requirements for psychologists are stated in administrative rule A.A.C. R4-26-207 and for behavior analysts are stated in administrative rule A.A.C. R4-26-409.
